Litera: Ukrainian Educational Outreach is dedicated to bringing free educational opportunities to English language learners in Ukraine. Litera's volunteer-led virtual speaking clubs provide a platform for learners to practice their English skills with native speakers and engage in meaningful conversations.

Where we are
Litera's volunteers and leadership are located at Cornell University, in Ithaca, NY USA. Cornell is a major American research university with approximately 16,000 undergraduate students and 10,000 postgraduate students. The university's strong academic and research reputation attracts students with diverse interests from around the world to study and make a difference in their communities.
Meet Litera's Leadership.
Litera was established in 2023 by Cornell University Graduate Students Mallory Gaspard (M.S. 2023, PhD expected 2025) and Maryna Mullerman (DVM 2025). The organization is officially recognized by Cornell University and is primarily run by student volunteers. Litera is also advised by two Cornell University faculty members who help to facilitate and advertise Litera's programs.
